Safari Technology Preview 251 is out, and the feature to keep on your radar is random(). It now works as a CSS value function inside custom properties, so you can vary a value across a set of elements without writing JavaScript. That is a preview capability, not a production one, so file it under watch-this rather than ship-it. corner-shape sits in the same bucket, pointing at shape options beyond the rounded corner and a layout toolbox that looks different from today's.
The change with real teeth is a removal. Safari is dropping the non-standard percentage value from -webkit-line-clamp, so grep for that pattern now before the clamp quietly stops working. The margin-trim removal for flex and grid containers is lower stakes; most of you never leaned on it.
Two additions are worth trying in the preview build. @supports at-rule(...) lets you feature-detect a whole at-rule, the clean guard for container-query code. object-view-box crops an image in CSS, which beats swapping out a second asset.
Everything else in 251 rounds out the batch: comma-separated condition lists in @container queries, the ident() and inherit() value functions, and popover=hint support. Worth a skim of the release notes, none of it urgent.
